Club Fees and Other Items

Term fees are issued at the commencement of each term. Payment is required within the first two weeks of term. Participants must be financial in order to compete in any CAWA competition.

Please note that fees are non-refundable should you choose to withdraw.  
No refund of CAWA affiliation fee, membership fee, term fee, costume deposit or any other associated costs is given should a member choose to withdraw.

Please note there will be additional charges for Graceful, Solo and Duo participants.

CAWA affiliation fee

  • Provides CAWA membership and insurance cover for your child.
  • This is a once a year payment, payable each year your child is enrolled.
  • Invoiced in Term 1 or the first term your child is enrolled.
  • Members enrolled in Term 4 pay a prorata amount.

Membership Levy

  • Covers class incidentals, such as prizes or awards, hair and make up supplies for competitions, storage facilities, props, Club based items such as stereos, mats, marking tape, first aid items

Volunteer Levy

  • Our Club is a not-for-profit organisation and relies on our members to volunteer.
  • Each family is charged a Volunteer levy at commencement. It is refunded in Term 4 if you fulfill a minimum of 3 hours volunteering for the Club throughout the year. This must be endorsed by the Team Manager or Committee member and submitted to the Club treasurer by the start of Term 4.
  • There are a number of volunteer opportunities at various times throughout the year:
    • Club committee, Team Manager, Costume Manager
    • Concert events – backstage, front house, marshalling, general duties
    • Club events – dress rehearsal, awards presentation, fundraising events
    • CAWA Competitions – marshalling, timekeeper, door

Class Term Fee

  • Covers coaching fees, venue hire, CAWA Competitions, stage practice (where applicable)
  • There is no additional cost for extra trainings scheduled by coaches to prepare for Competitions

Costume Deposit

  • Covers the cost of costume hire from the Club. Costumes remain the property of Riverton Calisthenics Club, which is used at Competitions and Concerts.
  • Each participant pays for their Fancy costume in full and it is theirs to keep.

Equipment

  • Clubs and Rods are measured for in class and supplied by the Club. Invoices are sent out once finalised.

 

Other items

Compulsory

  • ­Practice aesthetic training skirt – to be purchased by the participant (See our Shop, or you may be able to purchase one second hand)
  • ­Riverton Official Jacket: for participants of Sub Junior 1/2, Juniors, Intermediate, Seniors, Coaches and Cadets
  • Riverton Training Hoodie is optional. Recommended for Sub Junior 3/4, and Sub Junior 5/6 members
  • Black training leotard – to be purchased by the participant – for Sub Junior, Junior, Intermediate, Senior members

Optional

  • Calisthenics Skills Programme – ‘CaliSkills’ - aged based syllabus
  • Solo, Duo
  • Solo Graceful - can choose to commence the year they turn 10.

Refunds

  • Once fees are paid, no refunds are available.
  • There are no refunds for missed classes.
  • If we cancel a class we will make every endeavor to provide a make-up class throughout the year.

KidSport

  • We are a registered KidSport Club. KidSport allows eligible children, aged 5 to 18 years to apply for financial assistance towards club fees.
  • The fees go directly from the local government to registered KidSport clubs participating in the project.

Invoices

  • Invoices are emailed to parents each term.
  • Payments are due within the first two weeks (14 days) of invoices being issued.
  • Your child cannot compete at competitions, attend Club events or participate in the Calisthenic Skills Program, unless invoice payments are up to date.

Payment plans

  • You can set up a payment plan, if agreed to and authorised by our treasurer.
  • If you have any questions or want to make payment arrangements, email the Treasurer, Serene Tan (serenetan889@gmail.com).
  • If you do not make arrangements for payment, you are required to pay invoices in full by the due date.
  • Your child cannot compete at competitions, attend college events or participate in the Calisthenic Skills Program, unless invoice payments are up to date.
