Members are very welcome and encouraged to volunteer for more than 3 hours where possible. Committee meetings and other approved club roles may also count towards volunteer hours.
The Volunteer Levy is invoiced at the start of each year, or when a member joins during the year, and is reimbursed in Term 4 once the minimum 3-hour volunteering requirement has been met.
Below are the events and roles that count towards volunteer hours, together with the corresponding service hours.

Graceful / Solo / Duo Competitions
Members who choose to allow their child to participate in these events are required to fill a roster at Midvale (canteen, curtain, door, front desk, timekeeper, marshalling) during these events in addition to volunteer hours completed at a club level. Executive committee, team managers, costume coordinators and officers are exempt from this requirement.
