Volunteering

Riverton Calisthenics Club is a not-for-profit organisation and relies on the support of our members to help the club run smoothly.

Financial members (parents/guardians) are required to complete a minimum of 3 volunteer hours per family each year. These hours can be completed across several events or in a single event. To receive reimbursement of the Volunteer Levy, families need to complete at least 3 hours of eligible volunteering during the year. Volunteer contributions totalling less than 3 hours do not qualify for reimbursement.

Members are very welcome and encouraged to volunteer for more than 3 hours where possible. Committee meetings and other approved club roles may also count towards volunteer hours.

The Volunteer Levy is invoiced at the start of each year, or when a member joins during the year, and is reimbursed in Term 4 once the minimum 3-hour volunteering requirement has been met.
