Fees Explained (Quick Guide)

CAWA & ACF Affiliation Fees (annual, per participant)
  • This is set by CAWA & ACF and covers membership and insurance.
  • If a Tinie/non-competing participant performs a Solo/Duo, the affiliation fee is adjusted to the competing rate.
  • Members joining later in the year (e.g. Term 4) may pay a pro-rated affiliation amount.
RCC Membership Fee (annual, per participant)
  • Covers class incidentals, such as prizes or awards, hair and make up supplies for competitions, storage facilities, props, Club based items such as stereos, mats, marking tape, first aid items.
Volunteer Levy (annual, per family)

Riverton is a not-for-profit club and relies on volunteers.

  • Charged once per family at registration
  • Refunded in Term 4 when volunteering requirements are met
  • Volunteer hours must be submitted by the end of Term 3
Term Fee
  • Term fees cover coaching, venue hire, class resources, admin costs, and (where applicable) costume hire and competition-related costs.
  • Term fees secure your child’s place for the full term
  • Costumes hired remain the property of the club
  • Fancy items (where applicable) are purchased by families and kept by the performer
Invoices & Payments
  • Term invoices are emailed before each term
  • Payment is due within 14 days

Equipment

Clubs and rods are measured in class and supplied by the Club. Each year, all girls are re-measured, as equipment must match their current arm length and size. As members grow, clubs and rods often need to be replaced to ensure they remain the correct fit. Invoices are sent out once finalised.

  • Rods: $6
  • Clubs (New): $50 (with trade-in) $60 (without trade-in)
  • Clubs (2nd hand): $20 (with trade-in) $30 (without trade-in)
  • White training skirt:
    • 55 - 65cm: $45
    • 70 - 80cm: $55
    • 85 - 105cm: $65
  • We do not recommend purchasing second-hand rods, as they are often slightly bent or structurally compromised over time, which can affect performance and technique.
  • Skirts are made to order by a calisthenics dressmaker, and refunds are not available for a change of mind. If you choose to purchase your own training skirt from an external supplier, please ensure the skirt is 1.5 circles (540°) in fullness.
  • Trade-in value is set at $10 per pair of clubs in reasonably good condition. Broken or single clubs will not be accepted.
  • To help reduce the cost of clubs for families, the Club offers a trade-in option for existing pairs that are still in reasonably good condition. Where possible, we reallocate second-hand clubs to members who require a size upgrade, as this significantly reduces the cost. However, second-hand sets are subject to availability. If a suitable second-hand pair is not available in the required size, a new set will be issued.
